Child Sponsorship

Sponsoring one of our children is a great way to support the vital work we are doing in Myanmar.

For just $40 per month you can sponsorship one of our children.  Amazingly, this amount fully covers the basic costs of providing food, education, clothing and medical care to one child.  

However if you cannot afford $40 per month (or you can afford more!) that's OK.  Just let us know and we will accommodate that.

Here are the steps to begin sponsoring a child (sorry it is not fully automated ... we don't quite have the resources of the larger charities).

1. Decide on which child you would like to sponsor from this page.
    
2. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to let us know who you have decided to sponsor.  We will then record this in our database so we can keep you informed of what is happening with your child.
    
3. Click on the Donate link to set up an automated donation of $40 per month.  The easiest option is via credit card.  We can automatically deduct the amount you specify from your card without you having to worry about it.  However some people prefer to setup a scheduled direct transfer themselves via their online internet banking.  Or you can send a cheque.

Sponsorship makes a difference.

Through child sponsorship, you help provide a child with the chance to become a healthy and a happy adult, give them an education and providing real support to those who are forgotten.

Sponsorship can also bring about a permanent and effective change in the life of a child, their community and ultimately their nation.

Because MyKids is working with a smaller number of children, we are able to get 94% of your donation to the children who need it. 

Also, you can visit your child on one of our yearly trips and receive extra information about your precious child.  You have the opportunity to watch them grow up and see first hand what your generosity is doing in their lives.  They actually become “Your Kids”.
