Child Trafficking
One of the greatest risks facing children in Myanmar is child trafficking. Myanmar is a key source of child sex workers for the sex trade in Thailand.
Our Development Centres are a small step toward ensuring that the most vulnerable children - those who have lost their parents - are protected. The Development Centres we support ensure safety and provide children with a bright future.
The ABC produced a short documentary on the 'Greyman' organisation which is dedicated to rescuing children from the Thai sex trade. Myanmar is mentioned several times in this story.
